Considering Abbey Park Primary Academy as the school of choice for your child?

At Abbey Park we have 30 places for pupils in each year group so why not come in and pay us a visit – take a look around and see what we have on offer. To arrange a visit to the school or for any advice regarding admissions please contact Mrs Brown – Office Manager on 01422 246610.

We follow the admissions guidance from Calderdale and to apply you should follow the link below:

Calderdale Admissions Process

If a parent would like to apply for the their child to attend Abbey Park Primary Academy, then we would ask them to download an admissions form from the Calderdale website, or we can post one out for them.

Over-subscription Criteria

If there is over-subscription within any category, then pupils will be admitted in the order of proximity of the pupil’s permanent home to the school. Distance will be calculated using a straight line measurement from the pupil’s permanent home to the closest designated school gate. Distances will be calculated using the Local Authority’s GIS system (Geographical Information System).

If two or more children live an equal distance from the school (as measured above), the decision will be made using random allocation.

Abbey Park Primary Academy is a member of the Northern Education Trust.
We constantly focus on standards as we understand outcomes are paramount. Our decision making is driven entirely by what is best for children. By doing this we enhance the life chances of the children and young people in our care.
