Yesterday was our first forest school session of this academic year with the wonderful Oak Apples for Year 3 and Year 6. They did a great job of using various tools to cut back our forest school area, as it had grown lots over the summer. They found different berries and learnt which they could and... could not eat. Lots of children tried the sweet blackberries and sour sloe berries! Even the wet weather didn't dampen their spirits! 🫒🫐🍁☘️🌳
